Congratulations to Bob Given and Laraine Hinsen, Region 1-2's ADO
All-Stars, who helped the West beat the East team. Historically, the
East has dominated this competition, so nice job West team!

We are planning the Tacoma Open Singles II tournament the weekend
of November 5-6, with the ADO Cricket Regional on Sunday, Nov. 7.

Weekly SuperShoot Qualifiers continue at the Home Plate (almost)
every Saturday night. Attendance has been lagging (we only had 6 last
week), so come on out and listen to some karaoke, er, play some darts!
Snowball Pot rolls on at $46. There's a link to the weekly results over to
the left.July 19, 2010

The Fifth Tacoma Open was played this past weekend. Results linked to
the left. As usual, the league thanks Roger and the crew at the Home
Plate Tavern for their outstanding support, sponsorship and service.

Congratulations to Bob Given for winning the U.S. Team Region 1-2
Regional and a trip to Denver to compete for a spot on the World Cup
team.

We are planning Fall Doubles League, with a target start date of
Wednesday, Sept. 8. Sign-up sheet (.pdf file) is linked to the left.

On Saturday, July 3, Darrell Titus hit the Snowball Pot for $384 (his out
was 22)! He generously donated $50 of his winnings to seed the pot for
future shoots. Nice job, D!
Winners of the doubles tournament were Bob Ross and Jim Nelson, Jr.

The following week (July 10), we had a nice turnout of 14 at the
SuperShoot Qualifier after the Regional qualifier and a lovely
meal/board meeting at A Passage to India. Jim Nelson, Jr. hit the
Snowball Pot for $80; and he and Carole won the doubles tournament
(Carole hit a 180, and a lovely 142 finish - T17, T17, D20).
